Legends:
The giant oaks Farriskongen og Farrisdronningen were felled ca. 1770, and in 1773, Krogh, the forest supervisor of N Slesvig (S Jutland), found the giant stumps.

Comments:
The geographic position is based on an topographical map from 1858. The vast forest of Farrisskoven originally stretching from Kolding in the East to Ribe in the West no longer exists.
